Every year, the American Board of Pediatrics releases an annual report to help identify and fill gaps faced by pediatric trainees, faculty, practitioners, programs, and the profession as a whole. The ABP first reached out to Hummingbird Creative Group in 2016 to lead the design of the annual report. The nature of the project was very technical, so it was important for Hummingbird to make a visual impact that appealed to the family unit and made the subject matter seem less rigid. Through incorporating vibrant colors, infographics, and family-oriented imagery, the final product was a success. The success of the design in the 2016 ABP Annual Report led Hummingbird to take on the project again in subsequent years, with the 2018 edition receiving both Marcom and Healthcare Advertising Awards.


Hummingbird Creative won a gold 2019 MarCom Award and a gold 2020 Healthcare Advertising Award for American Board of Pediatric's annual report.
